By far, the hardest thing I have ever done is be a mom. And I am only three and a half years in…crap.
I can only imagine it becomes more emotional, more difficult, more unclear. I don’t even have to imagine actually, my mom has already told me.
Motherhood is something that feels small and mundane on the day to day, but then all of the sudden you look back and it is the most extraordinary thing you have done. Motherhood is also the first time that my instincts turned from selfish to selfless, with little to no effort. Kind of a crazy experience…also gut wrenching to love someone that hard.
This section will be made up of a lot of surface level stuff, like how to get your kids to sleep well, and then the good deep stuff, like how to actually survive and be a happy mom.
I would love to know what you would love to read. Motherhood is a broad topic, and I kind of just write about what comes to mind. So feel free to share your ideas, or heck, if you love writing too, connect with me above and let’s get you writing! No one knows it all, and we can definitely all learn from each other. I welcome it, because I feel clueless half the time.
Excited to be in it with you. What would you like to read? How old are your kid/kids? As always, comment below!
