I say current because every few months it seems to change, but holy moly, Redefine.
Before I get into how freaking good this stuff is, please know I only share what I honestly love. Whether you want to try it, have questions about it, or are just curious…read on!
The Rodan and Fields Redefine regimen has been the number one anti-aging regimen in the country for years now, but to be honest, I had only tried it a few times in the past. I was kind of hooked on another regimen of ours.
I think that is the thing, you will become obsessed with whatever skincare regimen is giving you the results you want and treating your skin well in it’s current season. Life changes, hormones change, skin changes…and I think your skincare routine should also change with it.
Thankfully, RF has something for whatever season your skin is going through…whether it is confused and thinks it is time for another round of puberty acne or it is starting to show signs of having (almost) three kids three and under. (Like, I am not even 26, I shouldn’t have to use an anti-aging regimen yet…freaking children.)
I started to notice that my makeup was seeping into some lines on my forehead, and that the corners of my eyes looked like I didn’t know what sunglasses were and I was squinting all day. Slowly these lines started to bug me, I felt less confident without makeup on (clear sign something needs to change), and I was like “hold up…you work with the company who created the number one anti-aging line in North America, maybe you should use it?”
Enter Redefine.
Now I have been using this regimen every night and morning for about a week and I am in love. And this is coming from a girl who used to not give two pretty pennies about what face wash she was using, as long as it was on sale.
I love Redefine because it is simple (3 steps) and it makes my skin feel better, lifted, tighter, and just happier each time I use it.
- Kaolin Clay Quick Drying Mask: and when I say quick, I mean like less than two minutes. I actually keep this face wash outside my shower, put it on, get my towel and let the water heat up. By the time I am in, it is dry and ready for a rinse. This mask draws out impurities but leaves the moisture, and it also has a finely granulated exfoliator also gently smooths out the skin and releases a skin conditioner for younger-looking, younger-feeling skin.
- Pore Minimizing Toner: and this bad boy delivers. If you aren’t toning, you need to be toning. I didn’t know how important this was, but it is! Read more about that here or here.
- Triple Defense Treatment: This is your morning cream, which comes in a jar (I love creams more if they come in a jar for some reason). Of course it has SPF 30 to protect, but it also contains peptides which fight lines and wrinkles.
- Overnight Restorative Cream: this is your night cream, and it ties with the mask as my favorite part. Hyaluronic Acid and Glycerin prevent moisture loss, while 12-hour, time-released vitamins A, C and E replenish vital nutrients, leaving your skin feeling refreshed when you wake up.
So maybe you want to try it but you are like I used to be and just buy whatever was on sale at Target. No judgement whatsoever, we’ve all been there.
But I am a big believer in self-care, and the first thing you notice when you look in the mirror is your skin. So treat yo self to some grown up skincare and you will not be able to go back.
Here are my girl Mckenna’s results…can’t wait to share mine! (Also side note, she is even younger than me! It is seriously never too early to love your skin well).
And I am giving 15% off this regimen for all Apffel a Day subscribers. Just subscribe down below and then connect with me up above…I will hook you up. And with that discount, it breaks down to costing about $1.80 a day. Your skin is worth that.
What face wash did you use in high school? I used to use an apricot scrub or anything that foamed a lot because I thought that was fun…Comment below!
